It happens, life gets in the way or we experience writer’s block and can’t seem to keep afloat with writing output.

I’ve had a huge bank of stories ready to go and life got in the way and the next thing I know I’ve got nothing new to publish. Don’t let yourself get frustrated with this getting in the way of your success with writing on Medium.

What’s old is new again. In fact, you can just look to yourself for inspiration and repurpose stories you’ve already published on the platform. Here’s how to do that:

Step 1: Visit your stats page

When I’m looking at repurposing a story I go to my stats page and see which story had the lowest views. I view this as an opportunity and challenge to see how I can make this story better.

Step 2: Select your story and copy and paste it into a new Medium template

Once I have selected which story I am going to repurpose I will copy and paste the content into a whole new fresh Medium template.

Step 3: Try and look at your piece from a different angle
