But, What everyone told you was a simple piece of advice; that you can't make money out of your passion and it won't be sufficient to earn a livelihood. Building a career out of your passion or hobby is not as easy as it may seem to be. but you can definitely try it once in your lifetime to understand the probability of yours being converting your passion into your profession. Let me make it much easier for you; when I started my book blog page on Instagram I had no clue about what can I do and how can convert this hobby of reading into a profession. But what kept me motivated was my love for books. now, I have built a successful book blog and I am earning well through it. Now, What can you do if you have the same amount of zeal to work on your passion and convert it into a full-time career? The answer is simple just ask yourself, can you perform the same task of your hobby every day and never get bored of it?
2. Patience and focus are the two keys to a successful career
How many times you've heard from your mentors or teachers that having patience is the most important thing while achieving a big objective? Believe me, you always lose the battle once you lose your patience and calm toward the goal. For example, if you want to be a successful writer you have to focus on the storytelling and editing process; but if you lost your calm during the editing procedure then you can calculate the consequences of it. that will directly affect the probability of people reading your book as it's not well written.
The same goes for any other passion as well. if you want to become a dancer you can't compromise with your steps and if you want to become a sportsperson you have to be focusing on your physique. In a nutshell, Building a career out of what you love can only be possible once you will believe in the process and have focus and determination on your work.
3. Hard work is The master plan
In the generation, where people are getting used to smart work, what I suggest from my personal experience is to follow the rule of hard work. yes, you heard that right; Hard work is the only thing you can adopt to climb the ladder of success. No matter what your passion is remember that nobody is going to pay you for that until and unless you have dedicated yourself to that work wholly.
For instance, If you want to become a sportsperson, what are those areas where you need to work? of course your physical; body and mental focus. And there is only one thing to do for that; Work as hard as you can on yourself. Thinking about a passion and actually working harder day by day to fulfill those dreams are very different things. and to succeed you have to be surrendering yourself to your work completely.
4. Believe in yourself
To achieve anything in your life and to fulfill your dreams; what you need is to just have faith in yourself. I know, sometimes the cruel words of society may let you down and break you from the inside but Remind yourself of only two quotes at that time- Good things take time to happen and God has some bigger plans for you.
Focusing only on your work, Having faith in the supreme lord, not comparing yourself with others, and loving yourself just the way you are; are the only rules that you need to remember in order to embrace great heights in life.
5. Research well about your work
Living in a practical world is very important these days and sometimes what we do wrong is that we just jump into our passion without even researching about the consequences of it. For example, if you want to become a full-time writer, firstly you have been selecting the genre you want to write the kind of book that are bestsellers. But, what most people do are they just impulsively write a book and publish them just to follow their passion, and guess what happens afterward, nobody recognizes their work because it was not well researched.
The same happens in every case, if you do not research the scope of your hobby in the market, then you will end up trapped in a world that is useless for your talent. Hence, Before diving into the pool of passion and transforming it into a full-time career, just think about the probability of you earning enough money out it to sustain your livelihood.
