UPDATE: 31 July 2021, it seems that anyone can subscribe now to your emails, if you have the Email Subscription function turned on.
Did you know that your FOLLOWERS can receive Emails from you (via Medium) when you publish a Medium story to your Timeline or Profile page (i.e. when your story is not in a Publication)?
If you enable this function on Medium, whenever you self-publish a story, YOU will see a message similar to below at the end or bottom of the story.
This message also appears on your “About” page.
