I published 100 stories in 100 days on Medium

Here’s what happened…

(A bit of useful information first… I write steamy romance and erotic short stories, so the following may or may not apply to other writing)

Back in November I another writer on Facebook mentioned she was doing a challenge, to write and publish 100 stories on Medium in 100 days, and was inviting others to join in.

I had a couple of dozen short stories I could put up, and a dozen or so more that were in draft form that hadn’t actually gone anywhere, so I decided to give it a go.

Now, I’m not the most organised of people, so it took me a little while to get properly started:

I published 7 stories in November and made 56 cents.

I published 4 in December and made 18 cents.

I published 4 in January and made 45 cents

And 1 at beginning of Feb.

In the last week of February I finally committed myself to the challenge — 100 stories in 100 days. With a total of 7 stories published for the month I ended up earning a whopping 64 cents!

In March I also joined a March Madness Challenge — to write a story everyday featuring a different romance trope — which really helped come up with new ideas every day. Even though I…
