My First 1,000 Views on Medium (within 30 Days)
A long way to go…
Who would have ever thought that a guy like me can cross 1,000 views on Medium?
But I did.
After writing 15 articles (excluding this one), my stats of 30 days (at the time of writing this article) are 1,038 views, 507 reads, and 58 fans. That’s quite intriguing.
When I first joined Medium in 2020, I didn’t write a single word until March 2021. I wrote on the platform till April and didn’t write thereafter until January 2022.
I was kind of inconsistent (like I’m always) but I’m glad I didn’t wait much longer and immediately started writing again on Medium after 10 months.
My follower count, which was three when I left writing in April, increased to 38 within my 30 days of writing in 2022. This gave me hope that maybe Medium can prove to be a gamechanger for my writing career.
All of this happened because my articles got published in several publications which helped me reach a larger audience. My pieces were published on Better Marketing, The Side Hustle Club, Making of a Millionaire, and Illumination.
I’m planning to publish more in these publications apart from others.
