When I started publishing on Medium every day, I quickly realized that I was going to need some kind of calendar to help me track everything I was submitting. I know there are a lot of great content planners out there, but many of them cost money, and I felt my needs were a bit more bare-bones than the features upon features such subscription services offer.

Instead, I went with the classic (and free) approach of using a Google Sheets template. This one, to be exact:

I adjusted the formatting a bit to reflect my personal preferences but, other than that, there was no setup time involved in getting my content planner up and running.

Simple and efficient — exactly what I wanted.
