Whatever Happened to Medium’s Ephemeral Story Telling Feature Called Series?

Unfortunately, I never had the chance to say, Goodbye Series.

I have been too busy writing stories that it was only yesterday that I was on the Medium mobile app. I usually read on my laptop, and I guess it’s part of being an older person. But, unfortunately, I can’t read on the small screen of my phone.

As a Medium paying member, I think the $5 subscription fee is worth it, especially if you are trying to make money online as a Medium writer.

The only way to write is to read more, and there are too many gifted writers here on Medium.

Whatever happened to Medium’s Series?

I only found out today, after opening my mobile app, that Series is dead, and in the words of Medium:

As of October 2020, Medium no longer supports the Series format for posting content on Medium. They are no longer accessible from profile pages, but they still can be viewed using the direct link. — Excerpt, Medium Series feature deprecation.

When I was still more of a Medium reader than a Medium writer, I remember trying the Series…
