No reaction or response

You post something on social media and it gets no recognition from your “friends” and followers. How does that make you feel? Offended, sad, indifferent, disappointed, or angry? Or do you even notice?

Honestly, most of the time, I don’t even notice

I rarely see likes or comments (or lack of them) on my own posts. Not because my posts have had a lot of attention, but because I seldom follow up to see if there have been interactions on any of them. I’m aware this isn’t optimal behavior for a writer/blogger, as social media interactions and connections are an important way to gain readers.

I can’t seem to stay focused long enough to like, comment, and share other people’s posts when I visit social media sites. In fact, I don’t stay on any of these sites for very long. Does this happen to you, too?

Is social media even worth caring about?
