Product

  • We have done a number of usability tests, are testing an updated design and are experimenting with some secret projects to make Feeld even better.
  • Big news at the start of the year — we are prioritising the option to upload photos from your device! If all goes as planned, this feature will be available to our Android users this month, closely followed by iOS.
  • We are working to make Feeld truly open and inclusive and want our gender options to reflect that. More options will become available this month.

Design

iOS

We are working to improve the new Feeld which launched recently*. We are closely following all issues reported here. The latest update (4.0.3) which we shipped last week has addressed the following issues:

  • Synchronisation issues: We have developed a fix for this, which should solve the problem for you! If you are still experiencing issues, please get in touch with support (cure@feeld.co) or post in our iOS Bug Reports page.
  • An issue that could result in disliking a Future Connections involuntarily has been resolved.
  • Now you can tap and hold on a chat in Connections to View Profile or View Members of a group chat.
  • We fixed an issue that prevented members from logging in.
  • We resolved an issue with downloading photos in chat.
  • We fixed an issue with message previews in Connections where the message body appeared to be empty.
  • We fixed an issue that prevented some of you from contacting Support from the app.
  • You can now tap and drag on sliders.
  • We fixed an issue with multiple group chats opening at once.

*We are sad to say that members who have an operating system older than iOS 10.0 won’t be able to use Feeld anymore. It is costly and hard for our 2-member iOS team to maintain and we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue support for it. We hope to have you back you on an updated iOS or on an Android device.

Android

The new Feeld is out on Google Play and we are working on bugs you have reported here:

  • We fixed an issue that resulted in an empty Discover screen, it will come your way soon.
  • We changed the way location is shown on profiles when a user is in a Core. You will now see the location more accurately and will be able to see your Connection’s current location.

Backend

  • We have been working on improving speed and experience.
  • We have started work on improving our analytics platform.
  • We have found some Discover issues which we started to work on.
  • We are introducing processes in place to make sure we comply fully with the upcoming updates to EU’s user data regulatory rules.

Signal

We announced Feeld Signal, have a look and watch this space!

Thank you for your patience and watch out for next week’s update.
