The TIDE Conference is on June 11, 2019 and InfoComm is June 12–14 in Orlando

Several members of the Tanvas crew are joining our partners Mimo Monitors in Orlando this week to announce the launch of our joint product, the Mimo Vue with TanvasTouch®. This 10.1" monitor is the first surface haptic-enabled product for the digital signage industry.

The new product combines the quality and durability of the Mimo Vue display with our award-winning TanvasTouch surface haptics, programmable textures and feelings on flat, physical surfaces.

We announced our partnership with Mimo at last year’s InfoComm one year ago so it’s a fitting place to celebrate our partner anniversary with the announcement of the first commercial touchscreen featuring TanvasTouch technology. To hear more about our collaboration, check out this video featuring Tanvas co-founder, Ed Colgate, and Mimo Monitors CEO, David Anderson:

We are excited about the many ways our technology can be used to bring a new dimension of interaction to the touchscreen. If you’ve been following the digital signage press, you’ve probably seen or even felt early versions of the Mimo Vue with TanvasTouch. At the Digital Signage Expo earlier this year, we captured some first reactions from people who experienced the magic of feeling textures, clicks, bumps and ridges on a touchscreen.

Are you attending InfoComm? Be sure to check out the co-located TIDE conference on June 11th. TIDE explores the merger of creativity and technology to design exceptional experiences. We are very much looking forward to participating on a panel titled, The Science and Creativity of Surface Haptics which will delve into how this new technology is being used to cultivate a heightened level of engagement, interaction and connection.

The Mimo Vue with TanvasTouch product will be available for pre-purchase at InfoComm on June 12th, and has a ship date of Q3 2019. The product will be on display in Mimo Monitors’ booth (#542). To make an appointment at the show, fill out this short form. You learn more about this product, review specs and FAQs at tanvas.co.
