Steven H. Cohen Obtains $75,000 Settlement for Pedestrian Injured in Orange County Parking Lot Accident

In May 2023, Feldman, Kleidman, Collins & Sappe LLP’s (FKC&S) 92-year-old client was leaving a store in Newburgh, NY. As he was pushing his cart towards his car, another driver was backing up and not paying attention. That car hit FKC&S’s client’s shopping cart, propelling him to the ground. He sustained a fractured coccyx and resulting cellulitis of his left leg, requiring antibiotic injections. Given his age and existing health issues, healing took a prolonged period of time. FKC&S placed the case into suit and took depositions, ultimately obtaining a settlement of $75,000.
