Project FEW, a new initiative headed by Female Entrepreneurs of the World (FEW), is calling all female founders and females working at early-stage companies to place themselves on a virtual interactive map in effort to quantify the sheer number of women leading early-stage companies worldwide. The goal of Project FEW is to build an open network of women undertaking innovative ventures in diverse cities and countries around the world to help facilitate cross-sharing of experiences, resources, and ideas.

Project FEW allows female entrepreneurs to place a virtual pin on their geographic location, publicly recognizing themselves, their company, and their role. Interactive features of the map paint a holistic picture of female entrepreneurship through running stats on contributors, countries represented, and startups founded by women on a global scale.

This mapping initiative is just one of several led by FEW. The international organization also organizes in-person workshops and events around the world, and publishes blog articles to help support gender equality and the advancement of women in entrepreneurship. FEW’s mission is to provide a community for entrepreneurs to share experiences in the hopes that transparency of information will inspire others in their entrepreneurial journey.
