The Female Founders Alliance is looking for our next Seattle Chapter Director!

The Female Founders Alliance is a community of women founding and supporting startups that help each other succeed. We envision a world where women have a truly equitable chance at leadership in technology and startups. Our mission is to create a pattern of success among female-founded, female-led startups.

FFA was started in Seattle and is now expanding nationally. Our Seattle chapter has already surpassed 110 members, with a long list of applicants in the pipeline. We hold very few, but very high impact, events, including the upcoming Champion Awards. We have an established network of partners, advisors and sponsors that will help set up the new Chapter Director for success.

Our Chapter Director is our most visible and impactful leader locally. She is the face of FFA, thereby providing an opportunity to develop a network among Seattle’s most influential founders, investors, executives, media and amplifiers. She is also responsible for setting the strategy for the chapter, connecting with our HQ team and other chapter leaders, safeguarding the culture of FFA locally, and creating the incentives for all FFA members to create tangible opportunities for each other. The Chapter Director leads our local leadership team, including the Membership Director, Program Director and Marketing Director.

This is a volunteer position with a commitment of 12 months, renewable at the end of the period. We estimate a time commitment of approx. 5 hours per week, some of which is networking and event attendance.

Our ideal Chapter Director is a charismatic, passionate, genuine and personable woman with demonstrated leadership ability, who has had experience as a startup founder or early stage executive in the past.

If you want to have tangible, measurable, scalable impact in improving the gender gap in startups, while developing your network, building your public profile and demonstrating leadership, there’s no better way in Seattle today.

Email us at hi@femalefounders.org to learn more. And share this note with other high potential women, so they get a chance to lead, too.

Can’t wait to hear from you…
