Fender Digital Adopts Serverless

We were fairly early to serverless, using it for the backend of our Fender Play application that launched in July 2017. Here is a presentation that we did at the 2017 AWS re:Invent conference with Mohit Srivastava from the AWS Mobile team. We start around the 25 minute mark, but skip ahead to 32:10 where Michael Garski walks through the architecture behind the mobile app, as well as our event architecture and the video transcoding pipeline.
