Feral Publications: Elevating Feral Comics
Feral Publication is an advocate for artistic expression and creative community building, and we are thrilled to announce a significant development that will excite comic book enthusiasts and aspiring artists alike.
In a bid to further support and recognize the incredible talent within our community, we are delighted to increase our page rate for Feral Comics. Our new page rate is 3 dollars for a 6x9 black and white jpeg. We pay double ($6) for any art that is used in the covers; front or back.
Additionally, we are excited to reveal three projects: a Charles Schulz fan zine, a Bill Watterson fan zine, and a Matt Groening fan zine. However, our doors are always open to rqndom submissions from talented cartoonists spanning various genres.
Three Fan Zine Projects:
Firstly, we invite all admirers of Charles Schulz’s iconic 'Peanuts’, and other works, including his life, to share their love and interpretations of them all. Whether it’s Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or any other member of the Peanuts gang that sparks your creativity, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Secondly, we reach out to enthusiasts of Bill Watterson’s world-renowned masterpiece, 'Calvin and Hobbes.' The imaginative adventures of Calvin and his stuffed tiger, Hobbes, have touched the hearts of many readers. This is your chance to showcase your adoration for the comic and honor its impact in your unique style.
Lastly, we extend an invitation to all lovers of 'The Simpsons’, 'Futurama’, ‘Life is Hell’, and other works by Matt, to explore the wacky universe of Matt Groening. Bring your artistic flair to the forefront as you dive into the vibrant characters and vibrant humor that have made Groening a household name.
Open Submissions Policy:
While we eagerly anticipate the submissions for our fan zine projects, Feral Publications is passionate about fostering a welcoming community for cartoonists of all backgrounds and styles. We value diversity and believe that every creator has a unique perspective to share. As such, we encourage aspiring cartoonists to submit their work, regardless of whether it ties into our current projects or explores entirely different themes. Your creativity matters to us, and we are excited to see your talent shine!
Payment and Submission Details:
To ensure smooth and convenient transactions, Feral Publications will process all payments exclusively through PayPal. This secure platform provides a hassle-free method for compensating our valued contributors.
If PayPal doesn’t work you can also request to be compensated with more comp issues (each contributor gets a comp issue).
