Here at Feral Publication we have been working diligently to build our small publishing company. The aim is to make zines a more common and well regarded staple to independent publishing.

It is through zines that we will be able to break out of the norms that create hate. Through zines we see marginalized groups able to voice their thoughts and emotions. First hand accounts to tell the peoples history, and the ability to create characters and heroes that represent a wide diverse group of beings. Hopefully all of that helps to create empathy and understanding in the world.

Beyond that, many marginalized artist are unable to make a living. The mainstream narrative has a stake to repress thoughts, emotions, and iconography that they find threatening, and for the white christian male dominated narrative everything is a threat.

I wish I could tell you that Feral Publication has helped zinesters make a livable wage, but that’s not the case. We have been able to help creators make money, and as we build this company further we hope to be here to serve the community.

So the Zine News Network is just us adding more to the all ready overflowing plate that is our workload.

We will be using this publication to promote zines, zinefest, and zinesters. As well as information that might help all zine enthusiast to reach their own individual goals. You’ll find tips, collaborations, interviews, grants, and things like that.
