FRM Stake and Earn: MetaMask Guide

Dear Ferrum Community,

In preparation for the opening of FRM Stake and Earn, we offer this helpful guide to ensure a smooth staking experience using MetaMask.

For help with Trust Wallet staking, please refer to this video guide.

Preparation: Install MetaMask and Have ETH in Your Wallet

Install MetaMask your browser and at least enough ETH in your wallet to pay for gas fees. Failure to have enough ETH in your wallet will result in a failed staking attempt.

Steps:

Step 1: go to https://ferrum.network/frmstakeandearn/ and select which pool you wish to stake (note you can stake more than 1 pool, but not at the same time)

Step 2: Connect your MetaMask Wallet to the Staking Contract (will happen automatically)

Step 3: Press “Stake” to begin the process

Step 4: Read and Agree to Terms and Conditions

Step 5: Select amount you wish to stake (minimum is 2500), and press “continue”

Step 6: Press “Approve and Stake”

Step 7: Allow MetaMask to Stake Your FRM

Step 8 (optional): Please observe the default transaction fee, which is set to be reasonably high, and should allow the transaction to execute quickly. However, you have the option of editing your gas fee to either increase or decrease the speed of the transaction using the “edit” button.

Step 9: Submit Transaction and Wait for Stake to Complete

Step 10: Success! You can now go back and stake more FRM in other pools.

Important Unstaking Information: Unstaking Must Happen From Same Wallet Used to Stake

In order to successfully unstake, you will need to unstake from the same wallet you used to stake your tokens. For this reason it is recommended that you back up your accounts and securely store the recovery phrase, in case you need to recover your wallet.
