Happy Pride Month! Dance music wouldn’t be where it is today without the LGBTQ community. Many core values align with dance music and festival culture, including the pillars peace, love, unity & respect. However, inclusiveness is prime and we can thank the LGBTQ community for that inclusivity. From the underground origins at The Warehouse in Chicago in the 1980’s to today, dance music and LGBTQ culture will always be intertwined. To celebrate Pride Month & the LGBTQ community, we’ve curated a Spotify playlist to highlight new releases from dance music’s brightest stars.
