The Farm down in Manchester, TN is turns into a magical field full of live music, art installations and nothing but good vibes every summer thanks to Bonnaroo. Unfortunately due to safety concerns caused by the COVID-19 crisis Bonnaroo will not be taking place at all in 2020, having cancelled it’s rescheduled dates in September. Dates for 2021 will partake from June 17th through 20th, in addition to a virtual festival being held on September 24th through 27th of this year. To keep the good vibes going, we’ve handpicked five of the best Bonnaroo sets from The Farm.

Radiohead — Bonnaroo 2006

The legendary Radiohead graced the main stage of Bonnaroo back in 2006. Thom Yorke quoted “We did this festival called Bonnaroo. We did 2.5 hours. And there’s 80,000 people, admittedly they’ve been smoking the sticky green all day– probably wouldn’t go anywhere anyway. It was just amazing. We played loads of new stuff. We did whole sections of quiet piano songs and it sounds like the most grotesque, self-indulgent nonsense, but it probably is my favorite gig for years and years and years. It was a really mellow evening.” Relieve the magic above.

RL Grime — Bonnaroo 2019

Although trap master RL Grime was listed lower on the eclectic 2019 Bonnaroo lineup compared to all-electronic music festivals, he threw down just as well as he would on a main stage. With some of the cleanest mixing you’ll ever hear in a trap music set, experience the replay above.

Metallica — Bonnaroo 2008

This wild two hour set from rock music legends Metallica will keep you headbanging the entire time.

Atmosphere — Bonnaroo 2015

Underground hip hop artist Atmosphere is known for both his flowing cyphers and lyrics that tell a story. This epic hour of smooth rhymes and beats is worth a watch.

Paul McCartney — Bonnaroo 2013

Last but most certainly not least is the one and only Paul McCartney. A Beatle and living legend, his set in 2013 drew the largest crowd — 80,000 people to be exact. Run through the magical set list of 24 Beatles classics & seven Wings songs above.
