Hello,

Here is Fetch.ai’s community newsletter for the week commencing 27 January 2020. Stay up to date by following us on Twitter.

Highlight of the week

Fetch.ai’s autonomous energy management system delivers major cost savings

Our autonomous agents have shown how Warwick Business School and Warwick University can reduce daily energy costs by 13–18%. And this is just the start 🌱

In a new article, we explain how our artificial intelligence technology can save businesses thousands of dollars 💰

The next step is to optimize more complex portfolios that generate renewable energy ☀️

Community news

New testnet wallet, token-tap and more!

This week we’ve been sharing a wealth of information about how you can get started on the Fetch.ai network. Among the many updates to check out are the web-based testnet wallet and token-tap, which gives access to tokens on our testnet. When used together, they make it easy to create a wallet and fill it with test $FET to transfer tokens or to deploy smart contracts 🤝

Full documentation on how to do these tasks can be found on our website. If you need assistance, or would like to learn more about what you can do on the network, please visit our developer Slack channel.

We have also updated our agent framework documentation. This includes a guide to deploying autonomous agents on a Raspberry Pi. Take a look and let us know what you think!

Upcoming events

We will be joined by European policymakers and business leaders to discuss decentralization, tokenization and the benefits and use cases for blockchain technology.

The event is open to the public and we would love to see you there! Read the program and register now.
