Highlight of the week
Alpha Mainnet Launch 🚀
This week marks the release of our alpha mainnet, Apus. Apus provides the stable foundation for the future, with all elements of our technology stack now linked together as a complete network.
Enhanced Block Explorer
As part of the release we have also updated our block explorer. In the video below Head of Software Troels Rønnow shows the exciting ways you can explore the Fetch.AI network, including how to access the smart contracts behind transactions and modify the Etch source code for your own use.

Carpooling is great for your pocket and the environment, so it’s no surprise that ride-sharing apps like UberPool™ are so popular. To connect riders with drivers and process payments, apps charge a substantial fee. Fetch.AI’s synergetic computing technology provides the infrastructure to deliver this service without the middleman, returning power and profit to the individual.
We want you to build a ride-sharing service using our Synergetic Contracts and agents. With a prize pool of over 100,000 FET, we’re offering substantial rewards:

Technology update
- Worked on upgrading serialization
- Closer to delivering better state management in Etch
- Added first class FET management support in smart contracts
Statistics:
This week, excluding merges, 10 authors have pushed 22 commits to the main branch and 25 commits to all branches.
On the main branch, 394 files have changed and there have been 20,319 additions and 5,887 deletions. See all updates.

Binance Meetup London
We joined Binance for their first London meetup in Canary Wharf, the financial capital of London, to discuss the impact of blockchain technology on financial markets. CTO Toby shared Fetch.AI’s vision for enabling the decentralized autonomous economy of the future.
