Fetch.AI Technical Bounty: awards up to $10,000 for reporting critical issues

Introduction

Fetch.AI’s bounty program kicks off now! Find and report a technical issue, and be awarded FET tokens.

There is much more coming as the summer progresses: we’ll be expanding our bounty program considerably to cover autonomous agents, mobile applications, and much, much more. We’re building a program for all to take part in.

Objectives

The objective of the technical bounty program is to award FET for your help in improving the quality, reliability and performance of the Fetch.AI technology.

• Find a technical issue in the Fetch.AI’s GitHub ledger repository
• Report it as a GitHub issue
• Additional award for fix

Start date: 9th July 2019

End date: Ongoing program to be revised at mainnet launch

Award structure

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defect_criticality for an idea of how defects are classified. Fetch.AI may change classifications of submitted bugs according to likelihood of occurrence or other factors.

Participation

To take part, you must:

• Submit either an issue or a pull request
• Correctly classify the issue and attach all the relevant information
• Ensure the pull request complies with the Fetch.AI software standards
• Email the issue ID and/or pull request details to bounty@fetch.ai

Awards are issued subject to severity, reclassification and verification by Fetch.AI.
