Kings College AI research and software engineer Ali Hosseini joins Fetch.AI
Please welcome Ali Hosseini to the Fetch.AI team. Ali has a PhD and MSc in Artificial Intelligence from King’s College London, with a background in Software Engineering. He’s had an excellent academic track record with publications in international conferences and AI journals. His work has achieved various prizes and awards.
Ali is experienced in a broad range of problem areas within artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems. This includes logical and uncertain reasoning, ontological modelling, and machine learning within the field of AI. He’s also worked on agent-based modelling, agent interaction and communication mechanisms, and game theoretical analysis.
For the past six years, Ali’s research has focused on the computational models of argumentation and dialogue, as paradigms that enable and merge communication and reasoning . Specifically, Ali has focused on bringing the formal models of argumentation and dialogue closer to humans’ utilisation of dialogue as a means of facilitating reasoning in individual and social settings.
In a professional setting, Ali enjoys working with modern and cutting edge technologies by combining analytical skills with creativity. Outside work, you can find him playing strategy games; the likes of Warcraft 3 and Starcraft.
