Since Fetch.ai is a Proof-of-Stake blockchain network, the essential task of maintaining the whole system and guaranteeing its security is entrusted into the “hands” of its validators. Additionally, validators are trusted with delegations by FET stakers of all sizes, which practically translates into increasing their voting power and, by extension, their influence over the network. Consequently, they become the keepers of the fragile balance between accumulating power while also, for the health of the chain, striving to make it as decentralized as possible.

Unfortunately, these custodians of the protocol are usually shrouded in secrecy, and users often find it challenging to make an informed choice of whom to delegate their funds. In an attempt to remedy that and to create a space for Fetch validators to talk directly with our community, we initiated the Know Your Validator campaign.

Now, almost two years later, we are boosting transparency even further. We are launching a series of blog posts, each dedicated to one of our validating partners, so as to help you know them better.

The first piece from the series focused on Blockscope.net — check it out here.

Below is our second interview featuring the team of Posthuman.Digital. Enjoy!

Q: In a couple of sentences, introduce yourself and/or your organization and tell us where you are based.

Posthuman.Digital: We have been validating since 2019. We contribute to networks and communities by bringing synchronization into chaos!

At the moment, we are 8 people, and we are on the path of becoming the first decentralized validator — we have our own decentralization roadmap. Actually, we have already made some steps in that regard, as our team members are currently located in France, Estonia, Russia, Bali, Ukraine, and Slovenia!

Q: What got you into the Web3/crypto space, and how long have you been in it?

Posthuman.Digital: Our founder Vladimir has been in crypto since 2016. He is a core-value champion of Mina Protocol, while also being on the list of “Best Cosmos Ambassadors 2021”.

Moreover, our developer Albert is among the top-ranked alumni of Interchain Academy.

Additionally, the rest of our core team members each have a long list of contributions to Web3 in general and to the Cosmos Ecosystem, in particular.

Q: Tell us your story about how and when you became a validator on the Fetch.ai Network. How did you first hear about Fetch.ai?

Posthuman.Digital: We heard about Fetch when it was still on Ethereum. After its mainnet launch, we decided to run a validator because we are generally excited about Machine Learning and AI! We think that AI is really important for decentralized economics, and Fetch.ai is the AI Gem of the Cosmos Ecosystem!

Q: Have you participated in Fetch testnets?

Posthuman.Digital: Unfortunately not!

Q: What commission do you offer FET holders as a delegation incentive?

Posthuman.Digital: We have the minimal required commission rate of 5%, but we think that Validators must participate in and contribute to the network and the community, so that is what we do!

Q: Have you participated in governance discussions and voted on any of the governance proposals?

Posthuman.Digital: Sure! We have not missed any since Proposal #7!

Q: Are you running (or are you planning to run) any ecosystem features such as seed nodes, client RPC endpoints, block explorers, or a DApp?

Posthuman.Digital: Our validator supports the Restake app and the Juno, G-Bridge, and Osmosis relayers for Fetch.ai.

Additionally, almost two years ago we added Fetch.ai to the Sputnik Network, thus enabling users to send tips in FET over Twitter. We continue to support this application absolutely free.

Also, we have added FET to our price tooling, so its price can be tracked and compared with 50+ different token pairs such as BTC, ETH, ATOM, JUNO, OSMO, and so on.

What is more, we have launched a Validators School and 2 of our graduates are now also validating Fetch: OtterSync and NQ4.Net!

On the marketing side of things, we manage the Cosmos Ecosystem Twitter community with ~35k followers, where we share weekly Fetch infographics and news. We also discuss Fetch on our community calls and the video content we create for the Cosmos Ecosystem. Our YouTube channel has almost 4k subscribers. You can find some popular playlists here and here.

Last, but not least, we moderate the Fetch Russian Speaking Community on Telegram.

Q: Please describe your involvement as a validator or in any other development work in the overall Web3 ecosystem.

Posthuman.Digital: We are core contributors to the whole Cosmos Ecosystem! In particular, we are the creators of the Distributed Validators Systems’ Validator School and the co-founders of the Ambassadors School. Besides those, we are also building the blockchain game Metarchy.

Q: Which is your favorite DApp and why?

Posthuman.Digital: Of course, all Fetch DApps are our favorite! But if you ask about non-Fetch DApps, then the Osmosis Zone is one of our favorite DApps.

Q: What are your plans for the coming 5 years?

Posthuman.Digital: Run our own blockchain to decentralize the governance of our validator fully. Make a stakedrop of our coins to Fetch delegators. Test new Decentralized Governance Models to provide them to the whole Cosmos Ecosystem.

Q: Is there something you would like to share with our community?

Posthuman.Digital: We are real fans of the combination of Web3 and AI. We always protect the interests of Fetch.ai, inside and outside the network itself. We believe that AI is the future, and we think that Fetch.ai will provide the main tools to liberate humanity from economics!

Q: How can our community members reach out and contact you? Please share your website and/or social media profiles.
