The Fetch.AI project is gathering momentum. To maintain the rate of progress, we are continuing our recruitment drive. Our latest recruit is Richard Dearden, who is joining the team as AI Machine Learning Lead.

Richard holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of British Columbia and has contributed to more than 70 academic publications, mostly in the fields of decision-making under uncertainty, automated planning, machine learning and fault diagnosis.

He has spent the last five years working for Schlumberger Cambridge Research on automation and AI for the oilfield. Prior to this, Richard was Reader in Intelligent Robotics at the University of Birmingham and spent five years at NASA Ames Research Center working on planning and fault diagnosis for the Mars rovers and other spacecraft. Outside of work, Richard is a mountain runner, orienteer and caver.

We are delighted to welcome such a talented individual to our team of world-leading AI experts.
