FAR Token’s Mainnet Arrival: How to prepare.

Few and Far (FAR) is arriving on NEAR’s Mainnet soon — get ready. Meanwhile, look at Testnet (Use NearBlocks—but wait a second, hmm, what’s Pikespeak? Sounds cool).

FAR Token is deploying on Mainnet soon—we’re notifying our Community how to prepare for its arrival.

If you’re interested in using FAR Token, look at Testnet first—it’ll give you a glimpse of its trajectory.

Pro tip: Try using a desktop device if you’re stuck on mobile — it’ll make things much smoother.

Try out FAR Token now on Ref Finance Testnet.

On Ref Finance, you can swap FAR Tokens with pairings like USDT.e or NEAR using experimental liquidity pools.

The Testnet FAR tokens—although far from their potential—could help you “prepare” before unleashing in the WID’L.

Community Note: We felt it was important to share that FAR Tokens for Early Backers will begin vesting in a contract-based unlock after being deployed on Mainnet and subsequently exchange-listed.

If you’re an Early Backer, prepare to receive FAR Token with the following steps:

Choose a NEAR wallet to receive FAR Token — then email us at team@fewandfar.xyz. Next, make sure to create an account with us.

1. Create or choose an existing NEAR wallet to receive FAR Token (if you haven’t nominated one). We recommend MyNearWallet (plus, it’s compatible with our Web3 Platform).
2. Email team@fewandfar.xyz your address. Put “I’m an Early Backer” in the Subject and provide us your account (e.g., “AwesomeEarlyBacker.near”)— it’s case insensitive.
3. Create an account at Few and Far. Visit fewandfar.xyz and create an account (using the same from Step 2) and click ‘Get Started.’ Next, ‘Connect’ your wallet. Important Note: Make sure to click ‘Yes’ when asked if you already have a NEAR wallet you’d like to use!

After Mainnet, Early Backers will see their tokens unlock in real-time inside our Vesting Portal.

If you’re not an Early Backer, don’t fret—the team plans to repurpose the Vesting Portal above for more Distributions, including the cross-chain promotional airdrop slated in our Upcoming Roadmap (i.e., there’ll be more chances to join the party).
