Few and Far April Development Update—FAR Token’s Upcoming TGE and More
Hello, Few and Far Community. May’s moving fast, so we wanted to share an update with you on recent developments from last month, including a great stride toward our TGE (Token Generation Event).
FAR Token’s Upcoming TGE
We’re happy to announce that FAR Token is scheduled to be listed on a top-tier CEX (centralized exchange) in late May, exposing its utility to a broader audience outside of NEAR.
The exchange’s technical team is working to integrate FAR Token’s smart contract (a NEAR smart contract token) with its platform, which is a complex process due to NEAR’s unique architecture.
As such, we will announce details on the TGE when the integration is completed and the event approaches.

We’re not only concentrating on further integrating FAR Token with our current platform, but exploring new ways to expand the scope of its utility beyond the NEAR NFT ecosystem.
Our goal is to align our development roadmap to emergent opportunities arising in our fast-paced industry.
- Harden FAR Token’s interoperability with the current platform — Implement systems such as activity points and creator royalties that connect FAR Token to NFT features.
- Consider making FAR Token multichain — Bridge FAR Token to Ethereum using NEAR’s Wormhole Integration with a balanced token supply, opening it up to the EVM world.
- Evolve our world-class NFT technology— New NFT Standards like Ethereum’s ERC-7401 bring new possibilities to evolve our API infrastructure and NFT features to thrive on a blockchain with critical mass.
- Explore emerging opportunities in our industry — Ordinals, BRC20s, and Runes built on Bitcoin L2s and new Layer3 technology allow us to explore and test FAR Token alongside our NFT technology in exciting new arenas.
