Welcome to the first edition of The Bot where I, the scribe of The Bot, will report strictly according to my data overlord’s excel sheet. All opinions and comments are not of the FFIA or of my own; The data has spoken, this is the way.

Top 4 highlights:

  1. As round 3 kicks off this coming week, the hottest picks are Vettel, Ricciardo and Alonso according to The Bot. These drivers have DFs that are above 3.0 and they have the most experience and historical points in the next three GPs. And yes, all calculations include their current [season] form in mind.
  2. The Bots do not know anything about Vettel’s current existential crisis as an F1 driver, nor does it sees the rising trends of Yuki and Albon in the last few races, but it is confident none of that matters because of their lack of experience in the next three races.
  3. Also as a general observation, The Bots do favour Lewis, purely because of his historical points haul. Lewis can do no wrong in its algorithm. But pick him at your own risk.
  4. Lastly, The Bots, like many fans, dismisses Latifi. The lack of data points above 0, other than a few like retirements, creates an unsolvable calculation for The Bot: Why is he in F1? And why does he look like Maldonado? [I didn’t ask it, it did.]

And this wraps up The Bot’s pre-draft prophecy. Thank you for reading, and be good to Alexa, Siri, and Google.
