Good friend and next door neighbour for over 25 years Thomas Merlin Maddock MBE who over the last 50 years invented and built untold wonders from his wooden penny farthing bicycle and his wind-up clockwork car to his world famous welsh harps.
Before he sadly passed away nearly 2 years ago after suffering with the debilitating Parkinson's Disease his final project was to build a full size replica of Christopher Carlyon’s glider that he hoped to fly back in 1904.
