We’re hiring a statistician/data scientist, to come and work as part of the FFT Education Datalab team in London.

We’re a small team, who work flexibly across a range of commissioned research projects and internal projects. In recent months we’ve carried out GCSE and A-Level results day analysis, looked into the issue of ‘off-rolling’, and carried out original analysis of Key Stage 1 scaled scores.

We’re looking for someone who is able to slot into the team and carry out a range of work, including undertaking impact evaluations of educational interventions, preferably using R. Experience with other languages, such as SQL or Python, and data visualisation skills would be an advantage.

Experience working with data such as the National Pupil Database and the School Workforce Census would also be an advantage, but is not essential.

The full job description, and details of how to apply can be found here. Applications will close once a suitable candidate has been identified.
