Recently in the cryptocurrency world, Bitcoin investors have started to believe that the world’s biggest cryptocurrency is in for real material gain in the year 2020. To top this off, one of the biggest names in Silicon Valley is already placing a huge moonshot bet on Bitcoin itself.
The venture-capital firm responsible for such a huge splash is called Founders Fund. Co-founded by Peter Thiel, this firm has amassed nearly hundreds of millions of dollars of the highly fluctuating and volatile cryptocurrency. Their bet was spread across a multitude of the firm’s most recent funding projects, including the one that began in mid-2017 and made bitcoin one of its initial investments.
As you may very well know, the public is already more accurately aware of Bitcoin’s long-term structural issues which may definitely hinder future benefits but while these issues can potentially address the problem of trust in a trust-less society, it’s still generally more effective, not to mention cheaper, to simply just pay someone to act as a clearer rather than expend a ton of energy by yourself. However, Bitcoin enthusiasts are still keen on keeping the faith in the cryptocurrency, so we can expect to have even the most skeptic in the industry to keep at least half an eye open just in case.
