Member Profile: Jubril and Nkem
Nkem and Jubril are two of our first Fibre members. We were really excited when they decided to take the chance and find a home through Fibre. We caught up with them recently to find out more about them and their Fibre experience so far.
What do you do?
Jubril: I build and invest in products and businesses.
Nkem: I model, own a fashion retail line, also own a PR& consulting company and am presently the Online Manager at Complete Fashion Magazine.
Describe your typical day?
Jubril: Up by 5am. Plan for the day and get some work done before I leave home. Shuttle between all the investments/products I am involved with for the rest of the day. Stop by the gym on my way home. Get home between 7–11pm. Watch 5 minutes of a movie/series and zonk out until the next morning. Repeat again.
Nkem: Let’s see, I head to the office by 8am, run through the internet for potential viral fashion stories, communicate with various clients about their products, continue stalking the internet for more stories, handle sales reports from my fashion retail line and handle clients from my PR company whilst sorting out cover and editorial shoots for the magazine.
What are you the best in the world at?
Jubril: Getting shit done.
Nkem: I’ll say I’m really good at multitasking. Juggling 65 things at once comes with ease and it’s scary sometimes.

Jubril: From a colleague who was house hunting

What’s your favourite thing about living in Lagos?
Nkem: The people.
What’s your least favourite thing about living in Lagos?
Both: Traffic
What has your Fibre Experience been?
Jubril: Excellent. We have stayed in a couple of other serviced apartments over the years and this is the first apartment that we have not had any complaints about. We now come back home and actually get some rest. Definitely renewing our membership next year.
