Angel

He knows the girl is there even though he can’t see her

He turns on the torch and the beam of light illuminates the space between the cars. There is nobody there. Yet, he hears the rustling of footsteps again, this time behind him, and the back of his neck prickles. So he knows that she, the girl, dances on her toes like every night in the car park.
