Today’s drabble uses the words single and heinous.
She sat at the bar alone and ordered a gin and tonic. Since becoming single her social life has shifted significantly. Most of her friends were married or had partners and getting anyone to go out was proving difficult at this age.
He sat down next to her and ordered a scotch and soda. He was brutally good-looking.
They made eye contact, smiled, then looked away.
Maybe a one-night stand would cure what ails me, she thought.
As he lifted his drink, a small swastika tattoo revealed itself on his wrist.
Heinous thoughts crossed her mind.
“Check please”.
