“Stop the car, honey!”

Lucy slams the brakes, stopping hard enough to hit her chest against the steering wheel. “What the hell, Trent?”

“I think I saw something back there. It looked —.”

She stares at him, waiting.

“You won’t believe it, babe.”

More staring, as she rubs her chest.

“I’m almost certain it was a — a dinosaur.”

“Very funny!”

“No. Really! It’s just on the side of the road.”

“In Dearborn. Really?” she mocks.

“It looked like a T.”

“A T-Rex?”

“Now who’s being funny?”

She shrugs. “What then?”

“A 1908 Ford Model T, silly.”

She slaps him.
