Auriandra stretched out comfortably on the forest floor. Tiny mushrooms sprouted from the tree behind her, and she could see an owl perched above. What a peaceful place.
“Your wings are getting filthy!” the filmmaker screamed, and Auriandra sighed. So much for serenity.
This documentary was her mother’s idea, a way to educate humans about fairies. Humans fear what they don’t understand, and Auriandra’s mother wanted everyone to feel safe in the woods.
After interacting with the movie crew, Auriandra didn’t care about humans’ comfort. She wanted them gone.
Auriandra winked at the owl, setting her mischievous plan in motion.
