“Don’t rain on my parade,” the radio blares, waking me up with a start. The percolator kicks in and brews me a perfect-smelling cup of coffee.

“Oh, hell, Dorothy,” I say to the fearsome lady in the mirror. It’s going to be a twister day.

I need to present a marketing proposal to the company’s managing board. They want to boost the corporation’s December profits.

Everyone will go shopping crazy and I have no slogan.

“Got it, Dorothy,” I inform the mirror with a sexy wink.

‘Don’t let the December blues rain on your parade. Shop ’til you drop!’
