All’s Well that Ends
a drabble in response to random word Day 256
The word is Loath, and the twist is to include the phrase thunderous sounds filled in the story.
It was Friday afternoon, and almost everyone had left early when her manager called her. The sound of his voice made her cringe, she loathed staying back alone with him.
“Yes, Sir!” she asked, “did you want me, for something”, she added quickly.
With his eyes glued to the computer screen, he waved her to sit down. “The thing is, I’m trying to solve this puzzle, and you are very good at solving”.
There was a puzzled expression on her face. “But Sir…!!” She hesitated.
Suddenly some thunderous sounds filled the hall.
Thank God, she murmured, the cleaners were there!
This drabble is in response to Nancy Oglesby’s prompt, the random word for #256. Here is a link to her post.

I just read a very sweet drabble, Wendy Tomlinson’s sweet story about her disgusting dog, that I loathe to admit, can be my story too!
