“They are messing with the weather,” Rhonda cried. “It’s not a conspiracy theory — it’s true!”
Greg rolled his eyes. His wife was always making mountains out of molehills. Finding problems where none existed. “Quit listening to those loony podcasts darlin’. Ain’t no one changes the weather but God himself. Besides, a little rain is necessary to water the earth.”
“Necessary?” Rhonda was practically shouting. “Greg, a few inches is necessary. We’re riding in a boat down our damn driveway, and the car just floated away.”
Greg shrugged. He pulled his jacket a little tighter. “I said necessary, Rhonda, not convenient.”
