Sheila went out with Bob. With his tall stature, piercing blue eyes, and a woodsy cologne, he was striking as first impressions went.
They hit it off right away.
Sheila’s eyes were drawn to his hair. It was dark and luxuriant — at first glance.
She wondered how it’d feel to run her fingers through it.
As they conversed, her eyes kept going back to his hair.
Was there a difference in color and texture between the hair at the edges and the top?
The top looked unusually thick, almost theatrical.
Sheila (curiously): “Is that a toupee?”
Bob (sheepishly): “You noticed?”
My male friends' baldness doesn’t bother me as it does them. I developed a bald spot from intense stress, which regrew after the stressor disappeared.
