Because a drabble is quite short(only 100 words) please remain on the page for at least 30 seconds to count this as a full read. Reading to the end, clapping, and highlighting will help to do this.

There’s an emergency meeting for all the engineers in the department and when everyone’s gathered, Mr. Brown, the chief engineer addresses the meeting.

“Good day, colleagues. This meeting has been called to discuss what happened at the project site this morning.

“We’ve reviewed the architectural drawings and found that there was supposed to be an arch connecting the two parts of the lower section but was not there. This weakened the entire structure, resulting in the collapse of the building this morning, which has caused severe injuries to some of our workers.

“We consider this as crass negligence and incompetence.”
