Codependency Isn’t a Relationship; It’s Fear
Drabble # 307 -driver
Today’s random word is driver; first sentence “You probably won’t believe me”
You probably won’t believe me that I’ve been looking for a good driver all this time.
You asked, “But why? You don’t have a car. You never believe in owning one.”
And I answered, “Ah… but I can’t lie to you. I have been looking for one. That’s why I’m asking you numerous questions, hoping your answers can drive me somewhere….”
“It hasn’t been working, huh?”
I shook my head, smiled faintly.
“It won’t work, ever actually. I shouldn’t look externally for the driver. I should search internally for one.”
He stared into my eyes. I looked away.
We parted.
