Today’s drabble challenge twist is to that it must start with “You probably won’t believe me”.

“You probably won’t believe me, but this is the most dangerous time on the roads,” I say, even though we haven’t seen another car for hours.
“But it’s so beautiful and peaceful,” she says.
A quick glance and I notice her expensive teeth and cheap sunglasses.
“The sun blinds drivers just as the twilight wildlife comes out,” I say.
To prove my point, we drive past the carcass of a wallaby.
“You would see them coming from a long way away,” she says.
She’s right. The landscape is flat and open.
“You didn’t see me coming,” I say, pulling over.
