“I’m going to a meeting,” Teresa declared.

Ken thought it was just another excuse for Teresa to leave home. He yelled out to her: “Fine. Don’t expect me to save you pizza and ice cream!”

Lately, he couldn’t imagine why she had so many nighttime meetings; he was becoming suspicious. As if these meetings weren’t enough, her noticeable weight loss these past months really piqued Ken’s curiosity. He decided he’d confront her about his suspicions that night.

Teresa came home, waving her Weight Watchers Pin at Ken. “I did it! I lost 25 pounds — those meetings DO make a difference!”

LESSONS:
1. In relationships built on trust, ask when something doesn’t seem right.
2. Sometimes a meeting really is just a meeting. Don’t make
