My drabble submission with the random word of the day ‘enough’
Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
Retired and feeling reflective, I often look back on my existence and remember.
I’ve had a full life and for that I’m thankful.
I haven’t done everything I’ve set out to do but I’ve done enough.
My bucket list of love, financial security, and interesting discoveries through education, and travel; self-actualization has been satisfied.
Oh, but yes; there is one thing that I’ve never accomplished that has been a lifelong desire for me to experience.
My life would be complete.
Just once would be enough, simply to prove to myself it really exists:
I’ve never seen a — flea circus.
