The word of the day is covet.

Actually, yesterday’s word was covet, but I got behind.

A Drabble is a short fiction story of exactly 100 words. No more. No less.

They pulled into the campgrounds with their nice truck and camper and felt a little out of place.

The RVs were huge and mostly new. Ten were parked in a row that must have been traveling together.

Rich pulled into his spot, got all setup, and went for a walk to check them out.

Julie could tell he was coveting them. He talked to each one of the owners.

He finally came back and said they were worth over a half a million dollars each.

“You shouldn’t covet what you know you can’t afford,” said Julie, always the sensible one.

I enjoyed reading the following story written by Amy Wolf .
