Absurdism?
Today’s random word is fantastic with a twist based on the image provided.
What one is left facing is the inevitability of one’s death. If I could say I’m now the most relentlessly pessimistic human being that ever lived.
This beach, though, is my beautiful exile, my oblivion.
As the sun sets, I walk to the long dock and sit among the Cory’s Shearwaters. Their cries blend with the waves, lulling me into silence.
They say water is one of those places where the gates to a fantastic world open. I stare at the endless horizon, wondering if one day, the sea will call me.
Staring down its depths, I feel tempted to dive.
