Fated Doesn’t Mean Forever
It could be just a purposeful encounter
Today’s word is viaduct. Twister: 125 words
Is that her? Really? Wow! She hasn’t changed! Her sarcasm with a touch of kindness, the vibrant energy that opens up every damn pore in my body, and… the temper! The shortest I’ve ever seen!
She walked calmly under the viaduct of a memorable bridge. She looked closely to the left side of the wall, hoping their initials were still vivid… as real as the dryness of his lips. He’d profusely apologized as she licked them gently.
The unplanned kiss… her ego soared… pushing him away five years later… moments lingered in her mind abusively.
When she passes by him, he remembers how his tears flowed uncontrollably, and the numerous nights he asked himself, “Why? What did I do wrong?”
His promise… her memory… unexplained.
