Martin and Alen were out for a flight in their spacecraft. After an hour, Martin slowed, hovering in the galaxy as he noticed something unusual.
“What is that, with lights flashing in such a steady cadence?” Martin asked.
“I propose we return home,” replied Alen, feeling skeptical and suspicious.
Suddenly, they saw the flashing lights form two distinct shapes. They knew it was a message — it was clearly an “a” and an “i” they were seeing.
Alen turned to Martin — “They’re adding vowels to us! You know what that means!?!”
Martin replied, “Yes — We will now be MartiAn and AlIen!”
