Today’s double drabble challenge word is “fedora.”

Today’s double drabble twist is that, “the character is a FedEx driver.

A double drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 200 words. No more. No less.

If you enjoyed this, let me know!

Margaret from Marketing and Pete from Product Development began their presentation to the Executive Committee.

“Success starts with the people on the front lines,” started Margaret. Everyone recognised their founder’s words.

“But there’s a reason innovation is one of our core values,” continued Pete.

“It’s 2025, not 1985, and the front line is where the action happens,” said Margaret. “Action like gunfire, road accidents, and dog bites. Our employees are no longer safe.”

“So, we’d like to introduce you to Fred, our newest worker,” said Pete.

“Named in honour of our chairman and founder, of course!” continued Margaret.

Stepping aside, the delivery worker trundled forward on his six asymmetric wheels. Above his white, hollow torso, designed for holding small parcels, his AI-powered brain wore a cheeky, bright hat.
